Included in weekly service:
- Visual inspection of your pool equipment.
- Maintain chemical balance of chlorine (or salt), alkalinity, and ph in your pool.
- Empty automatic cleaner bags, skimmer baskets, and pump pot baskets.
- Backwash DE and sand filters as needed. For cartridge filters see below.
- Recharge DE filter when backwashed.
- Net debris on top of pool.
- Brush dirt or algae that has accumulated on walls, steps, and bottom.
- Vacuum or leafmaster dirt and leaves from pool bottom as necessary.
- Add water while onsite.
- Leave a note or telephone you detailing any problems noted.
- Weekly Service is billed monthly in advance.
Special notations:
- Monthly charges are for 4 weeks cleaning. You will be billed the same base amount each month even though 4 months each year would see your pool cleaned 5 times.
- If we have to miss a week due to weather or Christmas week when we are closed, we will still bill for the entire month.
- If it is raining on your scheduled day, due to visibility we can only empty all baskets and check and maintain chemicals. We will spend the necessary extra time the next week when we are at your home to brush and vacuum.
- If temperatures are below 32 degrees we will empty all baskets and maintain chemicals and equipment.
- If your pool develops algae there will be an additional charge to apply an algaecide.
- If you have a cartridge filter it will need to be taken apart, thoroughly cleaned, and reassembled when necessary. This $15 charge will be reflected on your monthly bill.
- If you have a pool/spa combo there will be an additional $10 charge per month to clean the spa.
- In the event your pool gets washed in by severe rains or flooding, there will be a charge for the extra clean up. Typically that charge will be $55 to do a one time porta vac on the pool plus any additional chemicals. In the event of a catastrophic wash in, the charge is $150 plus chemicals for a complete one time cleanup/startup.
